Best friends to lover is my absolute favorite trope so it's not wonder I'm all over this novella. Caspian has been trying to find his "guy" for the longest time, going through all the astrological signs but no one feels right. He doesn't feel comfortable with any of them especially not to proceed to something a bit more.
It's only now that he realizes he might actually be Asexual. This is something else I appreciate about this story. Eli and Caspian's friendship, their love, was EVERYTHING. The sexual part was there but it wasn't the central focus (which I sometimes get tired of). When these two look at each other, the love deep understanding they share is absolutely breath taking. My heart ached seeing how these two circle around each other unable to say the one truth that matters the most.
I think I've said enough. My only complaint about this one is we are ONLY in Caspian's head and it can be a bit squirrel-y and hard to follow. I could have asked for a more lengthy novel as I LOVED these two so much! But truth being told I got what I was looking for so I really can't complain :)
Swoony!
I'll update this post once this novella is available once more. Hopefully SOON.
ABOUT THIS SERIES
Signs of Love is a Contemporary Romance series by Anyta Sunday.
If you are a Horoscope fan you're going to LOVE this one, and even if
you aren't (like me ;)) this is GREAT fun. Each novel focuses on it's
own characters (Stand alone) with every one of them also getting a bonus
novella. The stories are mostly connected through Crystal Wallace (Theo
and Leone's mother) who is the Horoscope Queen! She meddles, but it's
not truly her, it's the horoscope and what it has in store for each
couple (she takes it from her mother - Darla - who also makes an
appearance and meddles in her own way). But even when both women are
absent we still get both a bit of astrology as well as minor connection
between the other characters.
