New in Town (Out of Uniform) [Alex & Marco] by Annabeth Albert

This was a short sweet read. I would have liked to get a bit more of Alex and Marco and yet I still feel like I got a treat with the little glimpses into a few of the characters from other "Out of Uniform" books.

Alex Odell-Correa and Marco Correa are moving together with their two kids to San Diego. It's not an easy move for them, considering all their memories together are going to stay so far away in the East Coast. Yet being married to a Marine means sometimes you need to move where the military needs you and Marco is needed with his service dog with out favorite unit.



Military families stick together, and so even though Alex and Marco are new, they get enough help from everyone around them, most of whom we already met and fell in love with ourselves in the previous books in the series.

This was a very light read, a bit superficial I'll admit, but it's still a nice add to an AMAZING series.

ABOUT THIS SERIES

 

Out of Uniform is a Contemporary MM Romance series by Annabeth Albert. It starts as a sort of spin-off to the #gaymers series with a few visits from their characters but in each one at least one is at guy is in uniform - and specifically a Navy SEAL.

The biggest problem I have with this series is the fact, once you grab one of them, it'e IMPOSSIBLE to put it down. Each story is absolutely unique and SO SO beautiful and heart felt even with "manly men" as you'd expect SEALs to be. There's emotional ride both MCs need to get through, on their own, together and though it's painful at times, it's SO satisfying once you get to the very end.
