Firsts and Forever by Elizah J. Davis

Think about a romance novel with no angst. None whatsoever. You know what happens? it's pretty short! But besides being short it's also adorable, sweet and kinda romantic. That's Noah and Aaron's story.

They must have had angst, arguments, disagreements, times they weren't sure about themselves, or one another but this short novella isn't it. It's just them. Being together, reminiscing about how they met, how things worked out and how they are now truly on their way to Happily Ever After.

An Intrepid Trip to Love (A Little Bite of Love #1) [Trip & Boone] by Charlie Cochet

Though this wasn't long it gave us a whole story with A LOT of characters. It was a sweet funny easy going read mostly. The sort  best read on vocation. I enjoyed all friends to family who surround Trip. They were quite endearing together. A great start to a series!

Tristan "Trip" Hagan is an Alpha Husky shifter, but he gave his right to rule to his younger brother since he wasn't interested in ruling when it means he needs to leave who he is behind as well as his true mate who is an Enforcer (a half breed). It's not enough he is gay he is also in love with someone his family consider to be "beneath" them. Trip would rather leave it all behind and live his peaceful life having his love - Boone Devin - by his side even if they can't truly together.

In the Right Light by G.B. Gordon

Truthfully I just didn't connect with this one. It was too short to be realistic romantic wise, at least for me. it felt too fast and the "relationship buildup" felt more like an infatuation.

Danny Holt and James Carver find themselves working at the same project from different ends. James a landscaper, and Danny working artistic lights in a big estate. Though it's what Danny usually does with his artistic talent, James works with his older brother and father who mostly put him off and so their usual clients are more "mediocre", this is a big chance for them yet if they keep their attitude it's not just they won't get better jobs, James would leave as well. He had enough of his father and how badly he treats him... James has his dreams but he doesn't feel he'll be able to pursue any of them with his father managing the business..

Reclamation by Cari Z.

Great story! I'm usually not into either Dystopian world or Sci-Fi, I find I simply get confused and lost in the world building, but while I DID find some difficulties connecting to the world, the story was so well written and engaging I couldn't put it down. I was with tears of exhaustion in my eyes but I kept going. I loved that though both MC were "rough around the edges", they both had a very tender heart and it showed in how much they learned to care for one another. It's a brutal world out there, but inside Grayson's home they had their own ha(e)ven. 

Ten Simple Tips for Surviving the Apocalypse by Cari Z.

I"m not a fan of the Apocalypse.. There's something so very UNattractive about it. Yet I wanted to read this one because it was by Cari and I do occasionally read books outside of my "comfort zone" when it's by an author I enjoy reading. It's very hard for me to rate this one. It was nice I guess, it was funny at times, ridiculous at others and mostly strange with the "Purple Plague" either killing people or making them, well, PURPLE! (also adding other strange details to appearance as well as some pretty beneficial if not sexy abilities). 

Metronomy by Suki Fleet

We start this short novella with our main hero standing on the gallows, ready to be hanged, hoping Hunter will save him. From there, the action starts up until almost the ending, making this short novella impossible to put down. Yeah it's extremely short as it is, yet it was so compelling! 

Lima Oscar Victor Echo and The Truth About Everything by Suki Fleet

I decided to add this one by Suki and another shorter one (I"m going to start reading as soon as I"m finished with this review) after reading her short story in "Wish Come True" Anthology earlier this month. Originally I had more full novels but with moving out, moving in, unpacking and all of that I decided to change up a bit and add short reads I won't feel overly committed to. I'm SO happy I added this one now because Suki's published work is too damn long that I'm not sure when I"ll get around to it, but now that I've read another one by her, I'll do my best to add more ASAP (though that too might take time..).
So what am I saying here? pretty obvious - I LOVED IT! 

I"m stupid that way that without spelling it out for me, I didn't get that Lima Oscar Victor Echo means LOVE. I was waiting for Echo, Lima and Victor to put an entrance hehe (well, at least at the beginning! :D)

Frieze Frame by Cari Z.

I'm having the craziest days! Can't believe it took me two days (!) to write a review for this short but fab novella. Honestly from reading the synopsis I was a bit confused.. but as I read it, it became clearer even though it's still kinda strange :) 

Thanos is locked in stone by a witch. The place in which he stays becomes a sort of temple, one that is frequent by the witch and others. Through them he learns of the the time that passes by, always lonely and unable to communicate with others. Alive and yet frozen. 

In All Your Ways by Cari Z.

Sweet story of two angels, one fallen and another still shiny and pure finding a way to be together. Renat and Emiel loves each other yet as Angels it's somehow problematic so when the opportunity comes, Renat decides to Fall and asks Emiel to join him so they could love each other freely.

Making It Work by Cari Z.

I've read another short novellas by Cari and enjoyed it SO much I knew I gotta add more by her. Lucky for me, with my endless list of books most of her published work is short novellas so I had no problem adding most of them for my (almost) immediate reading list. 

This novella is a free read from the M/M Romance Group in GoodReads, a participant wrote a description of what she had in mind with a photo and Cari delivered! This short novella is told solely from Eric's POV. He is a PA in a law firm, working for Beau, one of the senior partners. Eric has a crush on his boss for quite a while.. They have been working for two years together and as time goes by he only wants him more, but he won't be a cliche.. so he settles with being office friends. 

Full Exposure by Amy Jo Cousins

I'm not sure how to rate this short novella. Partly because it took me  a whole freaking week to read it! I don't blame anything but myself, not having the time or the ability to concentrate (and not fall asleep) whenever there is a possibility to actually sit and read. I can't wait for this month to be over, getting my LIFE back! I miss reading and who happy and relax it makes me.

The whole story is told from Evan's POV. He is invited by his brother to help with a photo shoot of Riley Flood - a celebrity pop star. The tension between Evan and Riley was totally fun to read. Riley has such an influence on Evan who is mostly shy unless he is in an adventurous mood :) But the things he blurbs when he is nervous! 

You Get Full Credit For Being Alive by Cari Z

A wonderful tender love story. I didn't know what to expect from this one, but what I got was PERFECTION. I'm really impressed by Cari, giving us a real relationship buildup in so few pages, and not only that but a story behind it, with side characters and even a bit of a mystery thrown in. 

Five Dates by Amy Jo Cousins

This short novella was so damn CUTE and funny and heart warming! Devin made a few choices in his life he ISN'T sorry about, most have to do with being there for his sister when she found out she was pregnant and the age of 18. Now, more than ten years later after losing (another!) bet to her she makes him go on 5 dates so he can do something for himself for a change. 

Mating Balance by Gina A. Rogers & Kyle Adams

A sweet and very enjoyable read! Loved this one! Both main characters were interesting and so different yet so very alike in nature. the build up of the relationship was great especially since it had both the instant primal mating concept we are used to with animalistic characters (in this case shifters) yet as they took their time getting to know one another, they truly built a relationship before fully accepting their bond.
