Winning Bracket by Annabeth Albert

A sweetness of a read! Two guys, couldn't be more different, or rather compliment each other perfectly. Best friends, though they wouldn't easily admit that. Sometimes a silly bet is all that is needed to kick things in the right direction!

Edwin Schultz might truly be annoyed when every party made on Oliver's floor turns to be more "lively" than the rules allow. But when said Oliver comes to his dorm room and tries to make it better for everyone involved what comes out of it is a bet. If he can guess the basketball tournament scores he can get one wish from Oliver. He couldn't surprise both of them more when he said he wanted a kiss.

Oliver Marshall have already kissed Edwin back in August. He might have been drunk, but he KNEW what he wanted and especially WHO he wanted. He hadn't a clue that's something Edwin would have wanted as well. Serious, grounded, always proper Eddie. Yet with his grand abilities with spreadsheets, numbers and math in general it's no wonder he actually WINS the bet. But one kiss turns out to be too little for both of them..

Eddie can't admit to Oliver how much a single kiss between them meant to him. So when easy going, care-free, fun Ollie seems to be all about the bet and making it "count" he feels cheated. Yet unable to walk away from something he dreamed of for years now, he makes another bet and naturally wins again...

Ollie LOVES being with Eddie, but he doesn't want a BET between them, he wants the real thing. Yeah he might have a reputation of a flirt but it's different with Eddie. Always have been. Yet every hint he sends his way doesn't work and Eddie does the exact opposite - drifting away. It takes a party gone totally out of control for them to jar them enough to actually ADMIT the obvious.

It's a sweet short novella, yet there is a real story of friends who waited enough to make the next move. We also get an endearing epilogue of these two getting married and it's exactly the messy to organized these two are always in the midst of.

If you need an easy, sweet and fun read - this one is totally it!
