Save the Date by Annabeth Albert & Wendy Qualls

I LOVED this novella. I was hooked right from the start. The interaction between Randall and Hunter was ADORABLE! But though it started somewhat stereotypical - The clueless insecure virgin Astrophysicist with the big bad experienced army guy, it changed when these two actually got to know each other and not just between the sheets and learned to appreciate that though the attraction is over the roof (!) There's MUCH more to them than just that.

Randall Young wasn't having the best of time in his sister's Autumn bachelorette pub crawl until he was "dumped" by the girls while his dream guy was offering him to "watch a movie together". He was okay not even knowing the "Army guy"'s name as the night was HOT and exactly what he wanted. But things got complicated the day after when he realized the guy he slept with - Hunter - is Beau's best friend and the man of honor. Beau being his sister's soon to be husband.. Oops..

Hunter Mitchell was more than surprised to find the HOT guy from the night before was Autumn's  crazy smart little brother. He heard enough about the guy but didn't even know his name. Doesn't matter it was TOTALLY worth it and that might mean he'll gladly enjoy another night (or two) if the guy was interested.. Randall is interested all right but he is still a bit reluctant since it's OBVIOUSLY a bad idea..

Things get complicated pretty fast though, and not just when Hunter realized he somehow managed to take away Randall's V card without even realizing it. Was he too pushy/bossy? Randall seemed to like it.. Well, Randall DID like how bossy and confident Hunter was but truth be told he is more than nervous and insecure now because even if the sex is AWESOME they couldn't be more different and they don't even live in the same state (though that CAN change). While enjoying their time together both Randall and Hunter have time to consider again what they want from one another and more importantly are they brave enough to take a leap of faith with one another.

I really enjoyed this one. The pace was engaging, their banter was smart and sexy and in the end even though on paper they seem so different it was obvious they simply WORK together. Randall might be a bit shy and reserved, but he is confident and sure of himself in other aspects. He was exactly the guy Hunter needed to relieve his over worked mind. For Randall, Hunter was the confident sexy guy he always dreamed he can lay his head on and feel absolutely safe but who also can get his head out of his constant thinking and over-thinking mode. Yep, perfect together.

Grab it and read it! It's absolutely free on all platforms!
