This book has been on my reading list for YEARS. I first added it to my books in 2014, but somehow this book got postponed SO many times, I can't believe I actually finished it today. I don't even remember who recommended it to me or how I got it on my list in the first place but it waited quite patiently for the right time and I'm really happy it wasn't abandoned along the way (as it happens with too many books to count or remember). This book wasn't an easy read at times, it was sad and emotional and yet there was always hope for both our MCs to finding a true HEA. It was one of the most endearing things about this book and yet it was also what made me a bit weary at the end but I'll get to that later.
Joshua Bennet have been living a quiet peaceful life in his cabin when his life is being "invaded" by a woman who clearly went through an ordeal but can't remember who she is. At first, her arriving on his property makes him anxious but it doesn't take long for him to realize she is heaven sent especially for him.
