This one was just HEART BREAKING. Though I really wanted Ben and landon to REALLY be together, I felt like throwing something at Landon for being BLIND this whole time and making Ben ACHE for so many years. We've already met Ben and Landon in the previous installment, but this one takes place a whole YEAR after "Admiring Ash" which means Ben and Landon haven't been speaking for this WHOLE time. Though we only knew they had a disagreement, nothing more than that.
Ben Spengler have been in love with his best friend since he was 14 years old. They've known each other since they were 9 when Landon's parents decided to separate him from his twin brother Roy so they could start communicating with other people (than just among themselves). They became inseparable and as they grew up they also starting making Youtube videos which turned into a real career having millions of subscribers. Yet everything changed once Ben FINALLY realized he would rather not have Landon in his life than have someone who always puts him second. His heart can't take it anymore especially after he practiced for a whole year rope walking and when the big day arrived Landon forgot all about it..
Landon Riverton needs to sort himself out and I'm not just saying that as my personal opinion, it's what Landon decided to do after losing his best friend. He was so centered around his infatuation with Chance (the MC in the next installment) he totally lost track of everything else around him, especially his best friend who now doesn't talk to him AT ALL. He feels so lost without him, he needs him, which is why he finds himself MARRYING him in a very drunken spontaneous night in Vegas.. Landon woke up remembering but Ben on the other hand woke up remembering nothing.. So Landon decides to shut up about it until he figures out how to bring Ben back into his life..
The opportunity strikes when a photo of said day gets to Ben's MOM. He is freaking MAD at Landon for keeping it a secret, and since he can't be in his company how the hell can he now act like his husband for a whole week when his mother needs both of their help (not knowing they haven't been talking for the longest time.. Ben just didn't have the heart to admit that to her..).
Things get complicated right from the start. Ben had a plan, and though Landon agreed to it, he also had his own plan of how to make things RIGHT again between them but as they spend more time together, Ben becomes more frustrated of the act which breaks his heart every second with Landon's "playing" and Landon realizes what he wants is different than what they had and he sure doesn't want to break their marriage in any sort of way..
I've written a lot, or rather TOO MUCH, but I think I've left enough unsaid, mostly about how they work out their issues and how both realize they can have more than they used to have. I was having a stomach ache for most of the book, mostly through Ben's POV with his struggles to enjoy Landon even if it's temporary, even if he knew it will shatter his heart to pieces. When Ben FINALLY confessed to Landon - THERE ARE NO WORDS. I was near tears. While I was mad at Landon for a while, I didn't for long because I could see how much he missed Ben and wanted them to work again, even if it turned out different than he originally thought. This book wasn't what I expected in the best possible way and I truly can't wait to get the next one and see Chance redeem himself after his poor treatment of Landon.

ABOUT THIS SERIES
Love Letters is a Contemporary MM Romance series by Antya Sunday.
These were quite sweet. I enjoyed the first three, the fourth one I
didn't like the turf and one of the MCs. The series focus mostly on
these close friends - the twins River and Landon and two of their best
friends Ben and Duke. Unlikely or not, they find their HEA! Length wise
all of these are somewhere between a novella to a rather short novel and
yet we generally do feel like we got the whole story.
