Tristan & Jared (Market Garden #1, #2, #6) by L.A. Witt & Aleksandr Voinov

The last I've read by Aleksandr Voinov and L.A. Witt was "Hostile Ground" which was an AMAZING novel but it wasn't the first.. First one being "Unhinge the Universe" which also left a huge impression on me and helped made the MM Romance genre one of my favorites.

Yet I wasn't sure what to expect from these short novellas.. Since both Jared and Tristan work as rent boys at "Market Garden" a club catering sex in any way the customer is willing to pay, I wasn't sure if we'll be getting a story and not just sex. But actually even though most of it WAS sex, the interaction between Jared an Tristan was beautifully done, giving us both their POVs yet concealing from each other their true wants and needs and by that only getting under each other's skin even more until there are decision to be made. I really enjoyed all three novellas. It was hot as hell yet we did got enough of a story in there.

This post is going to review all three novels of Tristan and Jared together -
Quid Pro Quo (Market Garden, #1)
Take It Off (Market Garden, #2)
Payoff (Market Garden, #6)
These can be bought individually as well as in a bundle of all three of them.

Quid Pro Quo (Market Garden, #1)   ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
As this one is quite short all we actually get is a VERY hot sex scene between Jared and Tristan, both working as rent boys at "Market Garden" club. The novella is written from Jared's POV only. He is quite new at "Market Garden" working to pay his bills and his college expenses. He had his eye on the gorgeous Tristan for a while now but never had a chance to actually speak to him, let alone have sex with him, PAID sex. Yet a john offers to watch them together and both Tristan and Jared don't want to say no to THAT. It was damn hot and VERY well played by Tristan.

Take It Off (Market Garden, #2)   ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Another HOT installment, this time solely from Tristan's POV and also, with Jared being in control FULL control. Same john, a total different act. This time Jared doing a lap dance and much more with Tristan who is desperate for more from Jared, a LOT more, not only when there is a client around but off work he just isn't sure how to play it and if Jared is actually interested when all he talks about is the money, needing it, wanting it.
It was great getting Tristan's POV and seeing how much Jared affect him. Also seeing a man so used to controlling the situation so off his game.

Payoff (Market Garden, #6)   ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Unlike the previous two, this installment was from both Tristan and Jared's POV, we have a third and last encounter with "Rolex" which almost turned into a disaster when Tristan realizes he can't do this anymore but after a heart to heart and a little change of plans the three of them got sweaty together. The ending was sweet and enough of a "HEA" for me.

While I HATE reading books not in their order, it made sense in my mind to read it by "couple". So after this one I"ll be reading the bundle of Nick & Spencer: "If It Flies" (Market Garden #3) & "If It Fornicates" (Market Garden #4) then I'll continue to the stand alone ones: "Capture & Surrender" (Market Garden #5) then finish with the last one: "If It Drives" (Market Garden #7).

ABOUT THIS SERIES

Market Garden is an Erotica MM Romance series by L.A. Witt and Aleksandr Voinov

Welcome to Market Garden, a London club that caters to the better-off. Businessmen and bankers come here to relax and indulge in their every whim and fantasy, and Market Garden offers it all in top-shelf quality: threesomes, voyeuristic pleasures, domination, ropes and camo and leather. Men of every stripe, colour, and nationality deliver these high-end services—everyone has their reasons to sell sex.
And it’s the hottest sex in town.

And sometimes, it’s even served with a side of true love.

While I didn't know what to expect when I started the first installment in the series, now I can definitely say it's an absolute favorite! I liked some better than other, mostly "Capture & Surrender" but also "Tristan and Jared" story.

Each couple has their own stand alone novel / bundle and while all the installments are rather short they do bring us a full story with a sweet "Happy for now" feeling at the end.

As long as you stick to one couple there isn't much importance to the order in which you read these. I think it's better to pick a couple and read their installments together and not read the whole series by the order it was written (mostly because Tristan & Jared's ending is in the 6th installment though their previous installments are the first and second in the series). That being said, the 7th installment should be read after reading Nick & Spencer's story as well as Frank & Brandon's (meaning installment #3-#5) since they both appear as formed couples in that final installment.

If you're looked these ones up and discovered pretty pretty covers it's because they are all re-published by Aleksandr Voinov. They're the same though. Still recommended :)
