My Ex From Hell (The Blooming Goddess Trilogy #1) by Tellulah Darling

I've been having a rough time lately. Too much to do, less time to sleep. This weekend I promised myself a whole lot of NOTHING to do.
Decided to pick a book, wasn't sure which from my never ending list of books. This one seemed "harmless" and an easy read. Didn't know what to expect so I opened it and started reading...

Making Him Sweat (Wilinski #1) [Mercer & Jenna] by Meg Maguire

Jenna inherits a fighting club that belonged to her father who died recently. she hadn't seen her father in years since her parents divorced. she always had her mother's point of view of what happened then, and it wasn't a positive one.. especially when her father was involved in something illegal (though he was cleared of charges in the end). Jenna isn't interested in the club, but likes where it is placed, so she wants to close it and open a matchmaking business.

Making it Last (Camelot #4) [Amber Clark & Tony Mazzara] by Ruthie Knox

I loved this book from the first few words :)

We are used to reading "beginnings", see how couples find each other, the difficulties in the beginning, how hard it is to declare what you feel for a person, to bring someone new into your life and the changes it brings.
We don't get to see what happens 15 years later. when the magic is not what it used to be. when its harder and more complicated with responsibilities that you didn't have before.

Flirting with Disaster (Camelot #3) [Katie Clark & Sean Owens] by Ruthie Knox

Another amazing book by Ruthie Knox.
I'm actually quite pleased that I can't say like I said after every other book by Ruthie "This one is even better then the previous ones!" because seriously, that's just impossible! :D

This book is the story of Katie (the youngest sister) and Sean.

What Katie needs is someone who loves her, truly loves HER, she also needs someone who is able to let her become who she wants to be (even if she's not sure what that is) and doesn't expect her to be there for others and forget about herself (like her previous marriage).

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Millennium Trilogy #1) by Steig Larsson

I didn't expect to love this book as much as I did :)
I can't remember what made me want to read this book. I knew there was a movie about it but I never watch movies before I read the book.

So I got this book, and started reading. after a few chapters I got lost. I did..

Billy and Me by Giovanna Fletcher

I usually finish a book even if I don't want to finish it. I'll complain and bitch about it endlessly but still, I WOULD finish it. even if it takes me forever and ever.

This time I decided not to.. I read 38% of the book and decided not to continue.

How to Misbehave (Camelot #1) [Amber Clark & Tony Mazzara] by Ruthie Knox

5 stars is not a surprise here :)
Loved this Novella. I loved the idea behind it. loved how they are exactly what each of them needs.
She wants/needs to loosen up in a sense but so does he (in a different matter completely).
Loved Tony's character. Certainly the right guy to teach how to misbehave :D

Additional Details: Kindle Ebook, 121 pages, 12 July 2013 / On GoodReads

ABOUT THIS SERIES

Welcome to Camelot! A small city in which the 3 Clark siblings live.
We start with a short and sweet novella of the eldest sister - Amber - taking place somewhat in the past. Continue, in the present, with 2 full novels - one of Caleb and the other of Katie and finish off with another short novella of Amber in the present, now married with kids.

All four stories are beautifully written (as always with Ruthie). The characters feel real in every sense. They are human, they have flaws, they are not perfect and you can feel them, how they react to the past aches, the present with it's difficulties and relate to them as you would to your close friends. In a way they feel like your friends they are so REAL!

I loved all four novels, not equally but I did enjoy them immensely. I really liked how the novels and were closed with the last novella.

The setting also felt right with the timing. You know how in series families / friends tend to find true love one after the other in a way that doesn't make any sense?
Here it's not like that. Firstly because Amber meets Tony years before the 2nd and 3rd books which makes sense since Amber is much older then her siblings.
Then comes Caleb and Katie's novels and with the close connection between the two of them and what made Katie make changed in her life because of his influence it made sense that the two books were also close by.

The great thing about the 4th one was the fact that we don't get to read how happily ever AFTER comes to be. We get the beginning, we get a bit maybe of getting along but we don't get how it is after years together, with difficulties in life, the way the relationship changes through time and children. Here we got exactly that and it was really nice to see for a change.

A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Contemporary Romance series - as all of Ruthie Knox's work is.

Naughty and Nice by Ruthie Knox, Molly O'Keefe, Stephanie Sloane

ROOM AT THE INN by Ruthie Knox ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
WOW. What a story. loved it so much! Carson is not the typical guy who's afraid of relationships but he's scared shitless though he loves Julie and it should be obvious to the both of them how much they care about each other. I loved how slowly but surely the realization came to both of them. and also loved that the one who helped him in the end was a friend from his past he "left" for all the wrong reasons.
This is my second novella by Ruthie Knox, I also read two of her independent books - It seems I fall in love with everything this woman writes :D I'll sure be reading Camelot in the VERY near future :)

Back on Track (Strangers on a Train) by Donna Cummings

Nice story.
Liked the idea of hitting on someone with the a funny game. I always screw these things up :D
I liked it but not as much as I'd hoped especially after reading "I do or die" by her which was hilarious!!

About Last Night by Ruthie Knox

There are no words. no words to describe this incredible book.
Even if I tried, its hopeless.
A must read. brilliant. sensitive, funny, capturing.
and simply because I must - ohhh City..

Big Boy (Strangers on a Train) by Ruthie Knox

Sweet story :)
Not everything is what it seems and I guess the other way around :)
